5 Ways to Get Your Content Shared

1. Use a popular platform

Know where your readers gather or research about it. Use buttons or icons to make it easier and quicker for people to share content.

2. Think and write like a publisher

Consider what the audience wants to read, even if goes slightly against what the brand wants to hear. It is important to keep the reader interested in the content before you can start promoting the brand. This may mean solving a problem that commonly affects consumers and offering information that would help them.

3. Be original

Allot some time into thinking on what to write about. Brainstorm a few ideas. If you cannot think of anything to say then do not say anything at all. Read blogs of other people. If it is good content then share it but if you think you can add something to the discussion then do so.

4. Tell great stories

Get creative when writing. Talk about interesting events or add a twist to the story. People like reading about people they can relate to or look up to. Hire storytellers if necessary.

5. Build relationships

People like to connect with other individuals that they can relate to or share interests with. Build rapport with your readers, know their interests. Readers are more willing to share content if it is something that interests them.

I always think that humour helps too – unfortunately I am not very good at it. I also think that having manners such as saying thanks to people when they share your content is important too.
