AlleRubrieken.nl is a Dutch website that lists the best links within specific categories of interest. They were interested in increasing the number of traffic to their website. A directory website is a hard website to work with, as Google penalizes websites that have too many links on their website.

In April 2009 AlleRubrieken.nl had 41% of their traffic coming in through search engines and had 6,600 unique visitors per month. In June 2009, after 3 months of starting the project, we increased the share of search engine traffic to 60%, resulting in 16,800 unique visitors per month. These visitors viewed more web pages and stayed longer on the website than the visitors in April 2009. An increase in traffic of over 250%.
